iPhone No Service after iOS 14.7 Update? Here How to Fix It

 

iPhoneNewsID.Blogspot.Com – iPhone keeps losing its signal after its users updated their operating system to iOS 14.7 that was released by Apple on Wednesday (21/7/2021).

Many iPhone owners complained similar problems. Some thought the main cause for iPhone losing signal is the cleansing of iPhone’s machine IMEI namely Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR).

As know before, the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia has indeed performed a cleansing procedure to iPhone IMEI due to its ability to block illegal mobile phones has reached it maximum capacity.

There are some ways to fix iPhone that keeps losing signal:

1. iPhone owners may go to the store from which they bought the iPhones

2. Ask the store to re-register the IMEI

3. Turn-on and turn-off the Airplae Mode for 15 seconds; then reset the Network and restart the iPhone

4. Shall the three steps above end up to no avail, iPhone owners are suggested to call the carrier costumer service to fix the iPhone that keep losing signal.

Vice President of the Association of Indonesian Telecommunication Providers (ATSI), Merza Facys, confirmed the step number four.

As cited by Kompas, ATSI is a body that holds the responsibility of managing the CEIR machine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry.

Other methods that may solve the problem are:

1. Check your coverage area

2. Check carrier setting updates

3. Remove SIM Card and insert again

4. Restore to the previous iOS
